Photography and Digital Media

The sound for this piece was created from an audio source of an unknown origin that came through the computer one day while Patricia Stein and Brian Routh were communicating via the internet on ichat.

Brian recorded the sound, then edited and mixed it creating the soundtrack for the animation solely from the original source material.

Patricia using the edited soundtrack had a digital oscilloscopic program interpret the sound into basic visuals. She then hand mixed and edited the geometry and digital environment to create the final animation.
